Karandasj Keur
(Fedor x Irco Polo x Meridian)
Karandasj is the only son of the ‘keur’-awarded stallion Fedor (Darco) that is licensed by the KWPN. Karandasj concluded his performance test as a champion. Not only did he excel in all jumping components, but he also earned eights for his basic gaits. He forms a top-class combination with Willem Greve. They did very well in the young riders and finished individual seventh in the European championships. They won the Grand Prix of Kopenhagen and the Speed Derby of Maastricht and many other high placings. In international show jumping we find, besides Karandasj, also the Fedor offspring Loverboy (Kristof Cleeren) and Burning Fedor (Hubert Bourdy). Jumping genes are also deeply rooted in Karandasj’ dam’s line. His dam Corrie is also dam to the famous international jumping miracle Kahlua with which Eric Lamaze won a silver medal in the Pan-American Games in 1999. The famous national show jumping horse Volvo's Dollar Girl under Bernadette Nijhof is a full sister of the ‘keur-preferent’-awarded Corrie. Karandasj is considered one of the best showjumping horses.
