We are proud to present a magnificent selection of stallions for the 2012 season - bred from the best bloodlines and proven at national and international level!
We really enjoyed all the great success we had in 2011 at the county and national mare and stallion grading’s.
Our stallions have put De Radstake on the map internationally with their results.
2012 started superbly. All our 5 entries for the VSN cup got to the finals and three of them finished in the top 10 in the finals. A great achievement.
It is important in these difficult times that you as the breeders and we, as the stallion owner’s work together to achieve the high, international results which will keep us at the top of our game.
We are proud that we are able to offer you stallions that are in such high demand and are very popular. This popularity speaks louder than words. We will keep searching for new stallions with excellent bloodlines out of proven, classy dams.
Our aim has been, and will continue to be, to breed a modern correct and beautiful horse with enough length, good movements, quality limbs which is able to perform at top international level, be it in dressage, showjumping or eventing.
Our stallion line-up for 2012 offers many choices. Phin Phin and Tangelo v/d Zuuthoeve are both keur stallions and proven sires. Phin Phin was made an ambassador of the BWP (Belgium Warmblood Horse) in 2011, which is a very high honour.
Ultimo is moving fast up the rankings with his offsprings’ results at the gradings’ not only in hand and loose jumping, but also under saddle. He himself is back competing after a long layoff with a hoof injury.
Toulon, top international showjumper and sire of many top class international jumpers himself. Available for fresh semen in Holland exclusively at De Radstake.
Vigaro, internationally very successful with Gerco Schroder, is still available at our stud with frozen semen only.
Sorento, the pearl, is a fantastic sire and a top performer under saddle. 2011/2012 Sorento was crowned Horse of the Year in Oldenburg, Germany. What else can we wish for?
Zhivago, the mega star and national champion in 2010/2011. Phenomenal under saddle and a top breeding stallion. Zhivago a winner himself who scores above 70% constantly.
Superio, our 4 year old dressage stallion, was a revelation at the stallion grading in Westfalen 2010 and is now a prämien stallion as well. Proven under saddle after a very successful 30-day test with very high notes for all the dressage elements.
New for is 2012 the 4 year old jumping stallion Durango VDL - by Zirocco Blue, out of a dam by Lux Z X Lucky Boy X Artilleur. A real jumper with exceptional style and technique, we expect him to be a top class sire as well.
For 2012 breed with top stallions on good mares and we are convinced we will see a new generation of quality and healthy sport horses who can perform at the highest level and are also sellable - “Quality always sells.”
Through our good relationship with other stud farms we are able to offer many other SWS stallions at our stud and also have frozen semen from many other top international stallions available.
We are very pleased with the very high fertility rates at our stud and we are convinced that together we can achieve fantastic results in 2012 with a super selection of stallions. We are more than happy to discuss any breeding plans with you, so that we can enjoy a fruitfull 2012 in breeding and sport.
